embers of the Sydney Uni Archery Team traveled out to Werrington for the NSW State Target Championships on Saturday 31st August. The tournament consisted of World Archery 1440 rounds which are the longest and furthest rounds shot. While this was one of the toughest tournament of the year, the team managed a gold clean sweep in all 20 & Under divisions.
Jean-Luc Dimech in the freestyle recurve division shot a WA 90/1440 round starting at 90 metres. He took first place in the 20 & Under / Male / Recurve division.
Issac Mei in the compound division shot a WA 90/1440 round starting at 90 metres. He took first place in the 20 & Under / Male / Compound division.
Adam Leung in the barebow recurve division shot a WA 70/1440 round starting at 70 metres. He took first place in the 20 & Under / Male / Barebow division.
Kun Ho Lim in the longbow division shot a WA 60/1440 round starting at 60 metres. He took first place in the 20 & Under / Male / Longbow division.
